10" diameter auger cast-in-place piles drilled and installed on 12" centers x 24' depth as shoring for new press foundation pit (12'x16'x12') The project required piles to be installed inside the manufacturing area with 18' of headroom. After the piles were installed a 4" thick shotcrete surface was installed to finish the pit walls. The first 6 feet of the pit was excavated and shotcrete applied, then the final 6 feet was excavated and shotcrete applied. |
