Several sections of roadway settled in the vicinity of leaking joints in an 84 inch diameter storm sewer pipe. Compaction grout was used to stabilize the soils around the pipe to prevent further settlement of the roadway.

Low slump grout is injected under high pressure to form bulbs and columns as the grout is injected from the grout pipe. Grout pressure compacts and densifies the soil in a controlled placement of material at each grout hole location.
